Why visit
Agra is more than a Taj Mahal stop: the fort, Fatehpur Sikri, river views, Mughal gardens, and early starts all matter. It works when the trip gives the monuments space instead of treating the city as a day-trip errand.

Do not visit Agra expecting every worthwhile stop to be close together or easy to improvise.
