Why visit
December through April is the dry season, the only sensible window. Corinto offers Pacific beaches (Pas o Caballos and Paso Real), simple seafood at portside ranchones, and access to the spectacular Cosigüina volcano national park to the north. Most travellers visit on cruise ship calls. The annual Patron Saint Festival in April brings boat processions and music.
