Why visit
Visit Suncheon for Korea as wetlands and slow landscape. The bay, reeds, tidal flats, and garden sites give it a very different feel from the big-city route. It works when a Korea trip has time for the south coast and wants nature without leaving public infrastructure behind.
When to avoid
Do not visit Suncheon expecting a compact city-center checklist. The best material is spread across landscapes. Tides, weather, and transit matter. Plan around the bay rather than squeezing it between unrelated stops.
