Sabàtic Sitges is a brand new property and may be the best kept secret (for now) in the Marriott portfolio in terms of hotels near Barcelona. Let's start with the good:
1. Amazing breakfast, if you're looking for an American Breakfast you may be disappointed, but this is Spain so live it up with all of the Spanish food you want: Tortilla, jamon serrano, pan y pan dulces (seriously, there is a full table).
2. The hotel is stunning, rooms are large, light and have amazing balconies with very comfortable lounges. The bed/shower were great and there was plenty of room to work and relax.
3. Its right on top of a grocery store. That's a huge plus in my book because I was able to easily grab lunch, snacks, sundries, etc. without ever really "leaving"
4. It's a quick walk to the beach, train station (you can easily take the regional R train to Barcelona).
5. The staff are super helpful and kind
6. It's amazingly quiet, no rowdy Barcelona behaviour to be found here, you can relax in peace.Now I'll review the bad: really there wasn't anything wrong with my stay. I can't think of a single negative and I'm pretty picky.
Enough said, I'll be staying here again
