Green Line runs from Jaraguá to Bom Parto and has 4 cataloged stops. Operating section south of the Mutange closure.
The suburban railway follows an older coastal and inland corridor. Ground movement linked to the Braskem mining disaster forced the closure through Mutange and split the service in 2020. The present route opened through those stages.
Riding the line
The current rail fare is R$2.50. A replacement bus bridges the Bom Parto to Bebedouro gap under the emergency operating plan.
Current rolling stock and ride conditions: Diesel VLT sets run on both sides of the closure. Timetables are built around limited passing points, so gaps can be much longer than on a metro.
Neither endpoint should be assumed to include an internal transfer to another railway. Jaraguá and Maceió serve the central waterfront side. Bom Parto and Bebedouro are the railheads for the replacement connection, not a through-train pair.
Accessibility: Several stops are simple surface platforms. Confirm assistance and the bus bridge before a wheelchair trip across the closed section.
Reconstruction through Mutange is a future project. Do not plan a same-seat trip across the current gap.
