Hamburg S-Bahn is the regional suburban railway serving Hamburg. Services represented here include S1, S2, S3, S5. Branches and distinct stopping patterns are kept separate so the route diagram does not invent a connection.
Electric suburban trains began running in Hamburg in 1907, and the S-Bahn name followed in 1934. The network reaches the airport, western suburbs, and towns well beyond the central city.
