Keewatin Railway runs between The Pas and Pukatawagan in northern Manitoba. Passenger coaches share a railway that also moves freight and community supplies. The scheduled stops are The Pas, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon, and Pukatawagan.
The Mathias Colomb, Tataskweyak, and War Lake First Nations formed the company and purchased the line on March 31, 2005. Operations began the following day. Keewatin became Canada's second First Nations-owned railway after Tshiuetin.
The service runs twice a week
The current timetable has two passenger departures in each direction each week. This is not a daily intercity corridor, and there may be little room to recover from a missed connection. Confirm the dated schedule directly with Keewatin before arranging onward transportation.
The route diagram uses the four published passenger stops in geographic order. Sherridon is a stop rather than a large staffed terminal. Station facilities, shelter, ticket handling, and pickup arrangements differ along the line.

The railway carries both people and freight. Operating times can reflect loading work and conditions on a remote line. Keep essential documents, medicine, food, and a warm layer accessible rather than packing everything into checked or freight items.
