Mike’s notes
Naumburg Tram is the tram network serving Naumburg. Services represented here include 4. Branches and distinct stopping patterns are kept separate so the route diagram does not invent a connection.
Naumburg opened a steam tramway in 1892 and electrified it in 1907. The restored line is both ordinary local transport and one of Germany’s smallest operating tram systems.
Tickets and trains
Use the local transport association’s ticket or app. A ticket normally transfers between local rail, tram, and bus services inside the purchased zones. Paper tickets may require validation, so check the machine and platform signs before boarding.
Service frequency, train length, and the final destination change by time and day. Read the destination display rather than assuming every train covers the entire colored line.
Accessibility
Step-free access varies by station, and an elevator outage can change an otherwise accessible trip. Check the operator’s current station and disruption information when step-free travel is essential.
