Kelana Jaya Line is the KL rail line I would teach first. It links KL Sentral, Bangsar, Pasar Seni, Masjid Jamek, KLCC, and the long run toward Gombak and Putra Heights.
For visitors, this is the hotel-and-sightseeing line. It is why Alila Bangsar works so well: you are above/near the station, one stop from KL Sentral, and a short ride from KLCC without turning every movement into a Grab.
The line is automated and mostly elevated, with central underground pieces. It feels like a practical Southeast Asian light metro rather than an old subway. Use it when your endpoint is actually station-adjacent. If the final walk is hot or awkward, switch to Grab without guilt.
