Stuttgart S-Bahn is the regional suburban railway serving Stuttgart. Services represented here include S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, and 2 more. Branches and distinct stopping patterns are kept separate so the route diagram does not invent a connection.
Stuttgart’s S-Bahn opened in 1978 with a tunnel beneath the center. The steep valley geography funnels most services through the same central corridor.
