Using the Alicante tram
The tram connects central Alicante with San Juan, El Campello, smaller coves, and Benidorm. Use this page to choose a stop, then check TRAM d'Alacant for current service and works.
L1 for Benidorm
L1 is the limited-stop service from Luceros to Benidorm. Transfer at Benidorm for L9 toward Altea, Calp, and Dénia.
L3 for El Campello and the coves
L3 serves El Campello and smaller stops including Coveta Fumà and Cala Piteres. L1 passes those local stops.
L4 and L5 for Playa de San Juan
Use L4 or L5 for the long San Juan beach and the residential streets behind it.

Which stretch to ride
The Alicante TRAM is multi-line. The coastal corridor north of the city is shared by L1 (limited stops, faster, runs Luceros to Benidorm) and L3 (all-stops local, runs Luceros to El Campello). Smaller coves like Coveta Fumà and Cala Piteres are L3 stops only. Benidorm and Finestrat are L1.

When I use the tram
I stay on foot for the old town, Castell de Santa Bàrbara, Postiguet, and the port. I use the tram for Playa de San Juan, El Campello, the smaller northern coves, and Benidorm.
