Negishi Sushi Bar occupies two levels inside Hotel Monopol, directly beside Lucerne railway station. The ground floor has the open kitchen and takeaway counter. The upstairs dining room is modeled after a Japanese love hotel, with red lighting, velvet, mirrors, neon and jokes built into the decor.
The menu covers sushi, sashimi, gyoza, bowls and Japanese small plates, with vegetarian and vegan choices. The Lucerne location opened in 2017. It currently opens from 11:00 to 23:00 Monday through Saturday and from 12:00 to 22:00 on Sunday. The kitchen closes an hour earlier.
