Pivnica Prostor is a craft beer bar on Ul. kralja Zvonimira, a bit east of Split's old town. It started as the taproom for the Protokol brewery and is run by people who know beer. What stood out to me was the variety: a rotating set of house taps plus a deep shelf of Croatian craft bottles, so there is always something different to try. You can fill growlers to take away.
It is a locals' bar, off the tourist track, small and unfussy, and a good stop if you want Croatian craft beer instead of the usual lager.
