Estación Francesa de Resistencia

Estación Francesa is the former Resistencia terminal of the French-owned railway that reached the city in 1907 to move timber and tannin. The two-story building has brick walls, broad galleries, cast-iron columns, roof turrets, and a central clock pediment. It is protected as a National Historic Monument.

This is a heritage landmark, not the current Resistencia passenger stop. That distinction matters because the modern regional train uses a different station farther south. The old terminal is best read as part of the city's industrial history and the rail network that helped turn Resistencia into a commercial center.
