About

Estación San Pedro is the central Cusco departure point for selected PeruRail Vistadome and Expedition trains to Machu Picchu Pueblo. The 1924 neoclassical station faces the market in the historic center. Municipal history records a symmetrical three-part facade and a monumental stair.

It remains a working terminal, although many tickets sold as Cusco departures actually begin by bus at Wánchaq or by train at Ollantaytambo. Check the station printed on your reservation. PeruRail restored direct San Pedro service in May 2026 after its seasonal suspension.
