One-night World of Hyatt stay with my brother before the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway day. The appeal is the old seafront-hotel atmosphere: a big Victorian building on King Edward's Parade, breakfast included on the booking, and a spa/leisure-club setup that made the stay feel like more than a bed before a train day. It is a quiet South Coast base, but it is not close to the RH&DR; without a car the next day becomes train, taxi, and bus logistics.
