Isla Tabarca

Alicante, Spain

Mike's review

best for island day, boat trip, snorkeling, fortified village

Tabarca is the island day: fortified village, clear water, seafood restaurants, and enough walking to feel different from the mainland beaches without turning into a complicated excursion.

From the source

Isla Tabarca is the only inhabited island in the Valencian Community, reached by boat from Alicante or Santa Pola. The visit is a fortified village, marine-reserve water, and a compact island walk.
