Wouldn’t stay again

Don’t expect much. The Moxy in Stratford may be a Marriott property, but it’s definitely not a great one.

I usually choose Moxy properties due to the working area. This one has one, but it tends to be used by random people off the street doing whatever. The bathrooms (mens at least) smell accordingly to the point it’s overwhelming. They also love to crank the music in the lobby to the point you have to shout. Not a good place for a business stay overall.

Rooms are decent at best. The aircon will work ok if it’s below 24/26. Don’t expect a cold room during heat waves. Carpet is stained all over and not in great condition.

There are signs all over about drugs, but I witnessed several deals in front of and around the property. Expect the lobby or even your rooms to smell strongly of smoke at least once if you stay longer than a day. They do have “security” who are more intent on asking the obvious business travelers working past 10 if they are staying there rather than concentrating on the people who are obviously not staying at the hotel.

Overall terrible hotel, I don’t think I’ll return.
