About
Petřín Hill rises above Malá Strana with orchards, gardens and walking paths spread across its slopes. The Seminary Garden contains more than 2,100 fruit trees, while the upper park includes the Rose Garden, Petřín Tower, Mirror Maze and Štefánik Observatory. Sections of the medieval Hunger Wall still cross the hill.
The public gardens are free, but the tower, maze and observatory charge separate admission. As of July 2026, the Petřín funicular remains out of service. The approach from Pohořelec or the Koleje Strahov bus stop avoids the steepest climb from Újezd and reaches the upper gardens first.
