Museu Picasso Barcelona

Barcelona, Spain

About

The Museu Picasso is strongest on Picasso’s formative years rather than serving as a broad survey of every period. Its collection contains about 5,000 pieces and occupies five 13th-15th century palaces on Carrer Montcada. The museum opened in Palau Aguilar in 1963 as the Sabartés Collection and later expanded through the neighboring buildings. Entry is timed, including the free periods.
