The main interchange between the BTS Skytrain and the Chao Phraya Express Boat. Walk down from Saphan Taksin station to the pier, buy a single-ride ticket or a tourist day-pass on the dock, and ride the river north to Tha Tien (for Wat Pho), Tha Chang (for the Grand Palace), and Phra Athit (for Khao San). The orange-flag local boat is the cheapest and the all-stops one; the blue-flag tourist boat costs more but stops only at the visitor piers.
