Don't bother trying to buy beer here or for that matter, anything requiring an id unless you have a Texas drivers license. Cashiers are uneducated on ID types (federal, other states, and foreign). Was told I was using a fake id, they refused to scan it. Oh well, guess I saved myself a few dollars even if I wasted half an hour trying to find another convenience store near my hotel. Welcome to good ole uneducated Texas and another reminder of why I left.
