Line Laranja runs from Central to Terminal Samambaia and has 18 cataloged stops. Brasília Laranja.

Commercial service began in 2001. The Orange and Green routes share the central trunk, then divide after Águas Claras for Ceilândia and Samambaia. The present route opened through those stages.

Riding the line

Use the current Metrô-DF fare product sold or accepted at station gates. Keep enough balance for the return because station retail hours can be shorter than train operation.

Current rolling stock and ride conditions: Electric trains run underground through the central area and on surface or trench alignments farther west. The long station spacing reflects Brasília’s spread-out layout.

Central, Galeria, 102 Sul, 106 Sul, 108 Sul are marked as interchanges in the network data. Central sits beside the Plano Piloto bus terminal. Águas Claras is the branch decision point, so read the train destination before boarding westbound.

Accessibility: Stations were built with lifts or ramps, but equipment outages can break an otherwise step-free trip. Confirm access when a lift is essential.

Several mapped extensions remain projects. The operating distinction is the Ceilândia branch versus the Samambaia branch.

Check Brasília Metro for the current timetable and operating notices.
