Rhine-Main S-Bahn is the regional suburban railway serving Frankfurt. Services represented here include S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, and 4 more. Branches and distinct stopping patterns are kept separate so the route diagram does not invent a connection.
The Rhine-Main S-Bahn opened in 1978. Its central tunnel carries most lines through Frankfurt before they spread toward Wiesbaden, Hanau, Darmstadt, and the Taunus.
