The Subotica to Szeged connects Subotica with Szeged through Hajdukovo and Röszke.

Passenger trains reopened between Subotica and Szeged in 2023 after a long suspension.

Two additional departures began service in February 2026. International tickets became available online in July 2026.

Buy the international ticket through Srbija Voz. Online sales cover the Montenegro and Szeged services, but reservation and border-document rules still depend on the train. This is not a contactless bank-card tap-in railway.

Trains and accessibility

International rolling stock and onboard conditions depend on the assigned train. Carry water, and do not assume catering, Wi-Fi, or power outlets.

Wheelchair spaces are limited to equipped modern trains, and stations are not consistently step-free. Confirm the assigned train, platform access, and assistance before travel.
