The pros - this property was recently renovated. The fit and finish is quite nice, and a definite improvement with the large showers in the bathroom compared with before. The location is incredibly convenient as well. The staff at the club lounge were great (although an 8 on the survey isn’t good enough for the gym, beware 🙄) The cons - the rooms do not have a good area to work from. Bummer because the location would be convenient for a business hotel, I just can’t with this one. The regency club also barely qualifies as a lounge, it’s kinda an extended lobby which is just weird. The 🚩 management pushes a “discretionary service charge” at checkout. This rubs me the wrong way especially as I often am trying to leave at 6am for a flight and am half asleep. Please pay your staff what they deserve instead of pushing annoying American customs.
