Kings Park and Botanic Garden

Kings Park rises above the western edge of central Perth, with the WA Botanic Garden, bushland, memorials and broad views over the Swan River and CBD. The park is large enough to fill several hours, but the main walking line is straightforward: Fraser Avenue and the State War Memorial for the skyline, then the botanic garden and Federation Walkway farther south. More than 3,000 species of Western Australian flora are represented in the botanic garden. Entry is free and the park itself is open around the clock, although individual attractions keep their own hours.
