About

The State War Memorial occupies the highest part of the Fraser Avenue precinct, facing the river and CBD. The complex includes the Cenotaph, Court of Contemplation, Flame of Remembrance and Pool of Reflection. It commemorates Western Australians who died in conflicts involving Australia. The elevated terrace also gives one of the clearest central Perth views. Treat the memorial as a working commemorative space, particularly around Anzac Day and Remembrance Day.
