Mike's review

Visited 2026

I walked over in April 2026 and found the Rosales terminal fenced off. This was the city-side station of the 1969 cable car, with the line crossing Parque del Oeste and the Manzanares before ending in Casa de Campo.

The old system is now being replaced, not repaired for a quick reopening. Madrid began the rebuild in 2026 and plans to open the new cable car in the first quarter of 2027. Until then, there is no ride and the old fares no longer apply. Use Metro for Casa de Campo, and treat this station as a construction site rather than a transport option.
