If you expect a trendy bodega atmosphere and are not in a rush, Niño Gordo is amazing. The food is great, but block two hours on your calendar for dinner at least. Expect prices to be high for Buenos Aires, but the flavors are on point.
Don’t be surprised by a quick appetizer, the main course may come an hour later. It’s best to savor the dishes due to the pause in between. For those paying with foreign cards, be sure to bring spot cash: service is not included and cannot be paid via card.
