Visited 2023It’s a pretty cool place to see. It is the obvious Barcelona landmark, but buy tickets online because walk-up planning is rough.

Gaudí’s unfinished basilica reads differently from every side. The Nativity Facade carries dense scenes of plants, animals, and Christ’s birth, while the Passion Facade is bare and angular. Inside, branching columns lift into a canopy and colored light moves through the nave. Construction began in 1882, and Gaudí took over the design the following year. Tickets are online only and tied to an entry time.
