Mike’s notes
Brightline runs between MiamiCentral and Orlando International Airport, with intermediate stations at Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach. The South Florida stations sit in their respective urban areas. The Orlando station is at the airport beside Terminal C, so a trip into central Orlando still needs another connection.
Pick the fare before the seat
SMART Saver, SMART, and PREMIUM describe both price conditions and onboard service. SMART Saver has the least flexibility. SMART allows changes subject to the current fare difference. PREMIUM adds larger seats, lounge access, food and drinks, and other station benefits.
A Brightline booking is tied to the selected train and departure time. It is not an open regional rail fare.
Check the final connection
MiamiCentral connects with Metrorail, Metromover, Tri-Rail, buses, and local rides. Orlando connects directly with the airport, but most hotels, theme parks, and downtown destinations remain some distance from the station. Compare that final transfer before using the train as an airport substitute.
Brightline allows carry-on bags and sells checked baggage on eligible journeys. Checked baggage is only handled at Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. Add it during booking when a bag is too large for the carry-on limits.
