T2 connects Trg Ante Starčevića with Đakovština, Gradski vrt, and Bikara before returning toward the center. It is a loop route, so check the destination display and stop direction instead of assuming the next tram reaches each stop in the same order.

Osijek’s horse tram opened in 1884 and the system converted to electric operation in 1926. T2 represents the later southern expansion of the network toward the Gradski vrt and Bikara districts.

A first-zone single ticket costs €1.46, the Butra stored-value fare is €1.06, and a daily ticket costs €4.65. Smartica sells mobile tickets, while ordinary contactless bank cards do not function as tap-in payment. Validate the chosen ticket after boarding.

Ten climate-controlled Končar TMK 2500 low-floor trams are now part of the fleet, but older high-floor vehicles remain during the renewal program. Crowding is usually concentrated around the central square and event traffic near Gradski vrt.

The new low-floor trams are wheelchair accessible, but vehicle allocation and platform height vary. Use care around roadway stops and allow extra time if step-free boarding is essential.

GPP’s 2026 network map confirms the current T2 loop.
