The Sarajevo to Čapljina line connects Sarajevo, Konjic, Jablanica, Mostar, and Čapljina through the Neretva valley.

The 2025/26 timetable has daily departures from Sarajevo at 07:15 and 16:46. The trip to Mostar takes about two hours. For river and valley views, the left side is preferable southbound and the right side northbound.

From June 26 to September 27, 2026, the morning train extends to Ploče on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It leaves Sarajevo at 07:15 and reaches Ploče at 10:36. The return leaves Ploče at 18:26 and reaches Sarajevo at 21:54.

Ploče tickets are not sold online. Buy by noon on the previous day at Sarajevo, Hadžići, Konjic, Mostar, or Čapljina, and bring the passport details required for the passenger list. Check the official ŽFBH timetable before travel.
