ŽPCG Passenger Rail Bar to Podgorica local

The Bar to Podgorica local service connects the coast, Lake Skadar corridor, Podgorica Airport rail stop, and the capital. The mapped local sequence includes Bar, Šušanj, Sutomore, Crmnica, Virpazar, Vranjina, Zeta, Morača, Golubovci, Aerodrom, and Podgorica.

The current summer timetable lists eleven departures in each direction when local and longer-distance trains are counted together. Most scheduled trips take about one hour. The regular second-class fare between Bar and Podgorica is €2.80.

A July 2025 ride

I rode train 6150 from Bar Railway Station to Podgorica Railway Station on July 12, 2025. The paper ticket showed a 06:24 departure and 07:23 arrival. Two second-class fares cost €5.60 total. The train used an older carriage with high-backed seats and wooden armrests.

Aerodrom to Podgorica is scheduled for seven minutes and costs €1.20 in second class. Aerodrom is outside the terminal building, so the walking route and train time need checking before using it for a flight.
