Bathers Beach Fremantle
Perth, Australia
About
Bathers Beach is a 300-meter strip of sand between Arthur Head and Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour. The Round House stands above its northern end, while the restaurants and working waterfront begin just beyond the southern end. Swimming and paddling are common here, but the location is the main distinction. It takes about 12 minutes to walk here from Fremantle Station through the West End, and the west-facing shore has a clear view of the Indian Ocean sunset. The City of Fremantle provides seasonal beach-access equipment, including a beach wheelchair that can be arranged through the WA Shipwrecks Museum.
