Mike's review
Visited 2023You have to visit if you’re in Rio, and it’s amazing enough to deserve 5 stars. My review is more of the small tactical things that may make your visit better:
Arrive early. Before 8:30 early. I booked the 7:20 am train departure, but ended up going up the hill at 7:40. By the time I was leaving at 9am the line was well out to the street and trains going up the hill were standing room only.
Bring a hat, the direct sun can be brutal! Bring water as well. If you go early beware the cafe is not open until 9am.
Overall be prepared for the lines and rude people going to get shots for the Gram.

Essential Rio landmark on Corcovado; go very early, bring water and sun protection, and expect crowds and photo lines.
