About
Sant'Atanasio serves Rome's Greek Catholic community and is tied to the Pontifical Greek College founded by Gregory XIII. Giacomo della Porta designed the church, which was begun in 1580 and consecrated in 1583. Its two small bell towers and compact facade face Via del Babuino, while services follow the Byzantine rite.
