Budapest Tram 6

Tram 6 is the other half of the Grand Boulevard pair and often the one you notice late, when the city has turned into dinner, bars, and a long walk you no longer want to do.

It shares the central boulevard spine with Tram 4: Margit híd, Nyugati, Oktogon, Blaha Lujza tér, and the south-Buda crossing. The point is not one landmark. The point is that it keeps a long, useful slice of Budapest connected above ground.

If M1 is the museum piece and Tram 2 is the scenic ride, Tram 6 is the practical rhythm. It is how you move around the Pest nightlife-and-neighborhood belt without making every transfer a production.
