The Roca Constitución to Bosques branch via Quilmes connects the city terminal with Avellaneda, Wilde, Quilmes, Berazategui, Ranelagh, and Bosques. It reaches Bosques from the east, unlike the Roca route that approaches through Temperley and Florencio Varela.

The branch opened in stages under the Buenos Aires Great Southern Railway as the suburbs spread beyond the original main line. It joined the Roca network after nationalization in 1948. Electrification now allows regular suburban trains to run through from Constitución.

Use SUBE for the fare and look for the words vía Quilmes on the departure information. Several Roca services share tracks out of Constitución before separating, and Bosques can be reached by two different sides of the network. Trains are crowded during the commute.

Modern electric trains have air-conditioned interiors and open gangways between cars. Many platforms were rebuilt for the current fleet, though wheelchair access, elevators, and the platform gap still vary by stop. Passengers continuing to Santa Sofía or Gutiérrez may need the separate diesel shuttle from Bosques.
