Roca Line Roca: Constitución–Ezeiza–Cañuelas

The Roca Constitución to Cañuelas corridor connects Plaza Constitución with Lomas de Zamora, Monte Grande, Ezeiza, Tristán Suárez, and Cañuelas. In practice, the frequent electric branch ends at Ezeiza and the outer trip continues on a separate diesel service.

The route opened in the nineteenth century as part of the Buenos Aires Great Southern Railway's expansion south and west of the capital. It became part of the Roca network after nationalization in 1948. Electrification reached Ezeiza, but the tracks beyond it remain diesel territory.

Use SUBE for the fare and build the trip around the Ezeiza to Cañuelas timetable. Do not assume every departure from Constitución connects quickly with an outer train. Trenes Argentinos groups the two sections on one route page, but a change at Ezeiza may be required.

Modern air-conditioned electric trains cover the busy inner section. Diesel rolling stock handles the slower outer run and offers less frequent service. Raised platforms and wheelchair access are more consistent toward Buenos Aires than at the smaller stations beyond Ezeiza, so confirm assistance before travel when needed.
