Santiago Metro Santiago Metro Line 6

Line 6 runs from Cerrillos through south-central Santiago to Los Leones. It gives the network a second east-west crossing south of Line 1.

The line opened in 2017 with driverless trains, platform screen doors, and step-free station design. Its broad station spacing makes it useful for longer cross-city movements.

Franklin connects with Line 2, Ñuble with Line 5, Ñuñoa with Line 3, and Los Leones with Line 1. The Los Leones transfer includes a substantial walk between platforms.

Estadio Nacional is the station for the national stadium. Event operations can add crowd controls or temporary entrance rules before and after a match or concert.

Use the integrated Metro and Red fare. Trains are frequent, but late service and planned works can alter the final connection to another line.

All stations were built with lifts and accessible circulation. Platform doors reduce the gap risk, though lift outages still matter for the street-to-platform route.
