About
The Imperial Fora are a sequence of monumental public complexes built beside the older Roman Forum from the first century BCE through the second century CE. They include the forums of Caesar, Augustus, Nerva, Peace and Trajan. Via dei Fori Imperiali now cuts across the archaeological area, so remains appear in separate sections even though the complexes were historically connected.
