About

The Vittoriano was built from 1885 as a national monument to Victor Emmanuel II and the unification of Italy. The complex includes the Altar of the Fatherland, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Central Museum of the Risorgimento and a panoramic terrace reached by glass elevators. Access to the Altar of the Fatherland is free. The museum and panoramic areas use the VIVE ticket.
